Greetings, friends!

I haven't posted an update in awhile, but a few minor things have been going on during the packaging process - which has been mostly going smoothly, just very slow with my limited time I have to package after work and on weekends. We are around 60% completion, and I'm hoping to knock out a bunch more as I devote the whole holiday weekend to nonstop packaging. If you ordered 5 or more banners, you should have received your rewards or at least the tracking info by tomorrow.

Most importantly - if you chose a constellation design , this is your last chance to message me with your string color choice (blue or white). Almost 200 people selected this design and I've spent waayyy too many hours trying to track down each order and reach out multiple times to get responses. After this week, if I haven't heard from you, I will be selecting your tassel color at random.

 As you all probably know, inflation and the shipping issues are WACK and making everything jump in price. Shipping supplies have tripled in price so I am experimenting with bubble mailers.

I got a table last minute for MomoCon bc I was on the 2019 waitlist.  Somewhere along this journey I  got covid, (for the first time!) despite being fully vaxxed, and great masking rules at the con. 😩 Getting sick wiped me out. I unknowingly infected my bf when I got back home, so no one could pack orders for almost 2 weeks. 

The next hiccup has been that a few designs had a higher flaw rate than I thought during the first inspection, which lead to requesting remakes for 4 of the designs. If you chose a rainbow, purple plant, pokeball or HP castle design, this is why your package hasn't shipped yet. 

What I'm hoping is the FINAL issue with this very long, very costly, very overdue project is -- when that shipment of remakes arrived last week,  all of the pokeball pieces were missing. The manu has apologized for the mistake and is currently making them now, but it will take up to 7 days to make and then a few weeks to ship (I'm paying air shipping again to get them sooner than by container ship, but they still  gave me a month time frame... eek)

I am very sorry and apologize to everyone who backed this project hoping to get their rewards in a timely manner. I too thought this would all work out, and assumed I had cushioned enough extra time in planning that it would account for any problems that might come up along the way. It's true what they say about how you learn from all the mistakes during your first KS project :S

Anyway, fingers crossed 🤞 that everything goes smoothly from here and we only have a few weeks left of shipping out rewards! As always, please message me (or post) if you have any questions. 

I don't know if I will do a Pin Banner Part 2 for more designs because I feel that I really let people down with this campaign, and can't bear to do that again if it somehow becomes worst case scenario.

Shipment Progress

Hi everyone! Quick update on progress - we are about 1/3 of the way through all the packages so if you haven't received a tracking number, don't worry! I just haven't gotten to yours yet. There's 400 of you and only one of me, so it's a little slow-going.

Please contact me ASAP about your banner string color choice if you selected the constellation design as one of your rewards! I have messaged or email several people with no response, so I may have to set your order to the side or give you a random color if I don't receive an answer.

If you are attending MOMOCON and would like to pick up your banners, please also message me ASAP :)

In semi-related news... I had ordered washi tape (before this project even launched, if you can believe it) to match some of the banners, but they were stuck in the factory, then on a boat, THEN in customs for a long time and only just now arrived 🙃 If stationery is your thing,  they will be available in my etsy store this weekend.

Fulfillment Update

As soon as the stickers came in, the packages started going out, finally! So far we're only at 15% completion because of the extra hours I've been working at my day job. After next week my schedule should be back to normal and I can get a bit more shipped at a time.

 Here's what the box of stickers looked like when I first opened it - I don't know what I was expecting since I've never ordered so many before, but I was shocked at how puny it seemed for having almost $2,000 worth of stickers inside LOL.

The important info part: if you chose a constellation design, you may have received a message through KS or an email asking which color of the fringe you prefer. The manufacturer for some weird reason made a bunch of blue ones before they had sent me the progress picture. They were going to just throw almost 50 banners away when I caught the mistake! To avoid the waste I included them in the order, so now there's two options! If I did not contact you yet and your pledge includes this design, it will really help speed up the process if you can message me your fringe color choice. I will still contact anyone that hasn't, but if I have to wait for a reply it will delay your shipment.

Lastly, final reminder for anyone that wants me to include colored jute (twine) or the gold satin string in their order!

Apologies for the long delays 😩 The banners safely arrived last Saturday night! However, my cat had other plans for my week. The day after the boxes got here, my indoor cat somehow ripped a hole in his neck. We tried to patch it up until regular vet hours, which was a constant battle to keep the cat from self sabotage... so I barely even looked at the banners! Before i could get an appt, he ripped it even bigger, which just made a mess of my week with the vet appts and stitches and his recent diabetes diagnosis. All of this to say... It's been an exhausting week. BUT! I finally started opening boxes this weekend and inspected the banners and they look great so far! I bought several things to try to replace the boring white cord that comes with the banners - colored jute, regular twine, and a satin gold... rope? string?(It's more like a shoe lace material) and none of them look great. I think this will have to be a side project to work on for the next Kickstarter, but if you would like a particular color of jute or the satin gold material, just send me a DM and I'll include one in your package.

My only issue now is that I've had about a month of going back and forth with the sticker manufacturer. They are supposedly sending the last few designs any day now, but I'm holding my breath on that because we've had so many miscommunications I just wouldn't be surprised at this point if they give me another pushed back date 😭 

SO - the next few days I plan to pack as many orders as possible, including printing the shipping labels, so that when these stickers arrive I can toss them in and get these things to you!! Never in my wildest planning dreams did I think that it would be such a long process,  even with the covid slow downs and shipping delays, but that's the fun of Kickstarters 🥲 thank you for your continued patience!! Keeping my fingers crossed that we can get some packages out the door by the weekend!!

If you get a tracking number but it doesn't look like it's moving for a few days, don't worry - it just means it was printed out but hasn't been sent out in the mail yet.
